QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Harnai Mir Arshad Hussain Jamali paid surprise visits to various banks in Harnai district including branches of National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank Limited and Bank Islami. The purpose of the visit was to review the facilities provided to the public in the banks, security arrangements, customer services and overall administrative matters.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner made a detailed inspection of the security system, CCTV cameras, guards and facilities provided to the customers in the banks. He met the bank staff and also briefed to him regarding the performance of various departments.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mir Arshad Hussain Jamali issued instructions to the bank administration and said that all banking services should be provided to the public in a timely, transparent and efficient manner so that the citizens would not face any kind of problem.
He said that the banking sector is an important source of public service and the convenience of the customers should be ensured at all costs.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He especially emphasized the functionality of ATM machines installed in banks and directed that all ATM machines should be functional and usable round the clock.
He said that citizens should not face any difficulties in obtaining cash and complaints of technical malfunction in ATM machines or unavailability of cash should be redressed immediately.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that providing convenience to the public, better customer service and a secure banking environment is the primary responsibility of banks. He clarified that there would be no compromise on security and service quality and action to be taken against institutions found guilty of negligence in this regard as per the rules.
He expressed his resolve that the district administration would continue to monitor the performance of all relevant institutions to improve the quality of public services and resolve the problems faced by the citizens so as to ensure the provision of best facilities to the public.
