Deploys digital systems to ensure round-the-clock facilities, prompt grievance redressal for pilgrims: Sardar Yousaf

Makkah, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf visited the Main Hajj Operation Room established at the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Makkah on Friday to conduct a comprehensive review of the overall arrangements finalized for the pilgrims.

Upon his arrival, Makkah Coordinator, Zulfiqar Khan extended a detailed briefing to the minister regarding the overarching Hajj arrangements, operational matters, and the specific facilities being provided to ensure a smooth experience for the pilgrims.

During the visit, Deputy Coordinator Operations Makkah, Sadaqat Ali, briefed him about the logistics and movement strategy finalized for the sacred places (Mashaer), including Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. He stated that comprehensive arrangements for phased movement, accommodation, catering, guidance, and transport had been seamlessly integrated to prevent any inconvenience to the pilgrims during the core days of the pilgrimage.

The minister also inspected the dedicated complaint center established under the Pakistan Hajj Mission. Deputy Coordinator, Uzma Sharif, briefed him about the grievance registration, tracking, and real-time monitoring mechanisms. She informed that specialized teams remained active round-the-clock to address complaints promptly, with continuous digital oversight maintaining strict accountability.

Later, the Minister toured the transport section, where Deputy Coordinator Transport, Muhammad Ajmal Khoso who briefed him on the centralized monitoring of bus fleets, operational routes, and pilgrim movement handled via the "Salwaat Transport Management Application." The briefing underscored that modern technology and an integrated transport network are being fully utilized to guarantee the timely and safe transit of thousands of pilgrims.

Sardar Muhammad Yousuf also held a meeting with Yasir Jastaniah, the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Salwaat Transport and Mawakib Company. The two dignitaries engaged in detailed discussions on upgrading transport logistics, optimizing fleet operations, and enhancing facilities for pilgrims during the current and upcoming Hajj seasons.

Speaking to the media after his institutional review, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf expressed his profound satisfaction with the overall operational readiness. He emphasized that the Pakistan Hajj Mission was working tirelessly to deliver premium, high-quality services. He paid his gratitude for transparent planning, cutting-edge digital systems, and rigorous monitoring, this year's Hajj operation is progressing successfully.

Lauding the performance of the Hajj Mission officers and support staff, the Minister directed them to leave no stone unturned for serving the guests of Allah.
