Israeli health officials say 191 citizens have been injured and have been shifted for medical care
TEHRAN: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 10th, 2026) The ongoing US and Israeli military operations against Iran have resulted in over 1,300 deaths, according to reports from Arab media. The strikes have caused widespread destruction and casualties across multiple Iranian cities.
In the city of Khomein, a US missile reportedly targeted Doctor Hafez Khomeini school, damaging nearby residential homes. In Tehran, heavy overnight bombardments shook the city, with powerful explosions reported in eastern, southern, and western districts. Attacks near Resalat Square alone claimed the lives of 40 people, according to Iranian media.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that American forces are actively tracking Iranian missile launchers and will destroy them wherever they are located.
Responding to the attacks, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 33rd wave of missile strikes, warning that future attacks would involve missiles weighing one ton or more, signaling an escalation in the conflict.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Health reported an increase in casualties within Israel due to the ongoing war. Since the start of hostilities, over 2,000 people have been hospitalized. In the past 24 hours, 191 individuals, including both civilians and military personnel, were admitted to hospitals, highlighting the widespread impact of the conflict on Israeli territory.
The situation underscores a major escalation in the US-Israel-Iran conflict, with both sides suffering civilian and military casualties.
The authorities on both sides continue emergency response efforts, while international observers have expressed concern over the potential for further escalation and humanitarian consequences in the region.
