DC wishes Muslims a blessed Ramazan

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, the people of Pakistan, and especially the residents of Sargodha on the arrival of the holy month of Ramazan.

In his message issued here on Wednesday, the DC said that Ramazan brings a message of patience, piety, and sacrifice, and serves as a reminder of compassion and social responsibility.

He added that the district administration of Sargodha is fully mobilized to provide maximum relief to the common man in accordance with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister.

He stated that under the “Nigehban Ramazan Package,” ration cards are being delivered to deserving families to ensure access to essential commodities, adding that special Ramazan bazaars have been set up across the district, where a strict price control mechanism has been enforced to protect consumers from overcharging.

Chaudhry further informed that price control magistrates are conducting daily visits to markets to curb profiteering and hoarding. "Strict action will be taken against violators to ensure the availability of essential items at officially notified prices", he added.

Highlighting additional arrangements, the Deputy Commissioner said that clear instructions have been issued to relevant departments regarding cleanliness, security, and traffic management during Ramazan. A control room has also been activated to address public complaints promptly.

He prayed that may Almighty Allah make this blessed month a source of mercy and forgiveness for all and grant everyone the opportunity to benefit from its spiritual blessings.
