DC visits Tanda Dam fish hatchery

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat, Muhammad Nawaz on Thursday visited Tanda Dam fish hatchery and inspected fish breeding processes, administrative affairs and overall facilities.

He examined various sections of the hatchery, met with the staff and issued directives to further improve standards of fish production and conservation. He emphasized the importance of promoting fisheries sector and ensuring effective maintenance of the hatchery for sustainable development.

Meanwhile, on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Naveed Ahmad and Tehsil Municipal Officer visited several Imambargahs to identify issues and review sanitation arrangements.

During the inspection, strict instructions were given to ensure proper garbage collection and cleanliness around the Imambargahs. The concerned staff were directed to maintain hygiene standards and ensure proper security measures.
