DC visits site of electrocution incident at shrine of Pir Noor Shah

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Shakeel Ahmed Abro, visited the site of the electrocution incident at the shrine of Pir Noor Shah in village Budo, Dukhan city, on Monday.

During the Alam Pak Nishan ceremony in village Budo, Dukhan city, 8 people died and 5 were injured due to electrocution when the holy Alam accidentally came into contact with 11,000-volt power lines.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Senior Superintendent of Police Kaleem Aman Malik Shikarpur, and Assistant Commissioner Garhi Yasin met with the affected families and assured them of providing all possible cooperation and facilities. The Deputy Commissioner of Shikarpur said that they equally share the grief of the families of the deceased.
