DC Usta Muhammad reviews construction works of Tehsil Office Gandakha

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad, Muhammad Ramzan Palal along with Chairman Municipal Committee Gandakha Dr. Javed Akhtar Jamali on Tuesday paid a detailed visit to the Tehsil Office Gandakha, which is being restored under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative BSDI project.

On this occasion, he reviewed the ongoing construction and restoration work and also took a briefing from the relevant authorities about the progress.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was informed that the building of Tehsil Office Gandakha was severely damaged due to the devastating floods of the year 2022, as a result of which the execution of government affairs was affected and the office could not remain fully functional.

The work of restoring this important administrative building under the BSDI project by the Government of Balochistan is progressing rapidly, which aims not only to restore the office system but also to ensure timely and better provision of government services to the public.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ramzan Pilal, while issuing instructions to the relevant officers and contractors present on the spot, said that the restoration work should be completed within the stipulated time according to high standards.

He stressed that transparency, quality and speed in the construction work should be ensured at all costs so that the Tehsil Office can be fully functional as soon as possible.
