DC urges tourists to visit Swat without any fear

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Swat, Saleem Jan Marwat, has appealed to tourists visiting the Swat Valley to freely and without fear travel to the beautiful and attractive tourist spots in the district.

According to a statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Swat’s office, he said that all roads and tourist routes across the district are fully open, and tourists can travel safely and freely in their own vehicles.

He said that the district administration has taken strict notice of the unpleasant incident that occurred in Kalam the previous day and has immediately taken action against those responsible.

Furthermore, any elements attempting to hinder the movement of tourists or disturb law and order will be dealt with strictly according to the law.

The Deputy Commissioner Swat reaffirmed that providing a safe, peaceful, and pleasant environment for tourists is the top priority of the district administration.
