DC reviews security arrangements for Yaum-e-Ali procession

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali, along with Deputy Police Officer Sialkot Dost Muhammad, reviewed the security and administrative arrangements for the Yaum-e-Ali (RA) procession taken out from Imambargah Dar-e-Batool in the city.

During the visit, the officials inspected the procession route, security deployment, traffic management, cleanliness arrangements and other facilities provided to the participants.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said the district administration and law enforcement agencies performed their duties vigilantly to ensure the peaceful conduct of the procession. She appreciated the arrangements made for providing facilities to the participants and strengthening security.

She also lauded the professional performance of district police, Municipal Corporation, Civil Defence, Rescue 1122, traffic police and volunteers, and directed all departments to remain in close coordination and continue performing their duties till the conclusion of the procession.

Assistant Commissioner Sialkot Rana Safdar Shabbir and Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Zubair Wattoo were also present on the occasion along with officers and officials of the concerned departments. The procession concluded at Imambargah Dar-e-Batool at around 5 pm after passing through its designated routes.
