DC reviews Ramzan relief measures at facility bazaar, warns against overpricing

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Monday visited the Ramzan Facility Bazaar on Faisalabad Road to review arrangements aimed at providing maximum relief to the public during the holy month of Ramzan.

During her visit, she inspected various stalls set up at the bazaar and interacted with shoppers to inquire about the prices and quality of essential commodities. The Deputy Commissioner particularly examined stalls selling pulses and chicken, checking the availability of items, their sale at officially fixed rates, and overall quality standards.

To ensure transparency, she personally supervised the weighing of different commodities and directed vendors to strictly adhere to prescribed prices and quality benchmarks.

She emphasized that no compromise on price or quality would be tolerated under any circumstances.

Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Ayesha Rizwan instructed the concerned officers to further strengthen daily monitoring and surveillance to ensure that citizens receive maximum relief throughout Ramzan.

She reiterated that the district administration would utilize all available resources to facilitate the public and warned that the sale of overpriced or substandard goods would invite strict action.
