DC reviews rain situation in Pasrur

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Awais Mushtaq on Wednesday visited Pasrur to review the rain situation and inspect water flow in Nullah Dek and low-lying areas.

During the visit to Udho Fateh, the deputy commissioner inspected the water level in Nullah Dek and reviewed arrangements to deal with the impact of heavy rainfall. Assistant Commissioner Pasrur Sana Sharafat was also present.

The deputy commissioner directed the concerned departments to remain on high alert and ensure continuous monitoring of rivers, streams and rain-fed waterways. He said all relevant institutions were fully prepared to respond to any emergency situation arising from the ongoing monsoon rains.

Awais Mushtaq also urged citizens to stay away from ponds, rainwater drains and flooded areas and to adopt precautionary measures during heavy rainfall.
