DC reviews preparation for marking Pakistan-China ties

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) A ceremony to celebrate the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China will be held tomorrow, May 21, at 9:00am at the Commissioner Complex in Sargodha.

According to the official spokesperson here on Wednesday, the event is being organized by the district administration and will be attended by Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, Regional Police Officer Shehzad Asif Khan, Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, District Police Officer Sohaib Ashraf, along with other administrative officials.

In connection with the celebrations, a preparatory meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters, Assistant Commissioner Sargodha, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation, officials of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), District Council, and representatives of other relevant departments.

Addressing the meeting, the DC said that the friendship between Pakistan and China has grown stronger over time and that the bilateral relationship symbolizes peace, development, and prosperity in the region.
