DC reviews performance of govt educational institutions

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) A review meeting of education department was held on Friday which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza in which Chief Executive Officer Education Authority Sardar Akhtar Abbas Baloch gave briefing about government educational institutions performance.

In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed to shift the 20 to 25 large government schools on solar system in a stage wise process so that uninterrupted supply of electricity could be ensured.

Regarding promotion of Artificial Intelligence in government schools, he directed to arrange a proper training of students and teachers so that modern technology could be made part of the teaching system.

It was decided in the meeting that sports clubs should be functional with the coordination of sports department so that annual sports Calendar could be made.

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza further directed that to ensure regular monitoring of government and private schools, check the teachers attendance and availability of basic facilities in schools.

He also stressed the need to construct boundary walls and improve security arrangements while the ongoing development schemes should be completed in stipulated time period.

The CEO Education Sardar Akhtar Abbas Baloch presented the details of number of government and private schools across the district, enrollment, and board results of last year and ongoing development schemes.
