DC reviews health facilities in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi paid a detailed visit to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital to review healthcare facilities and inspect various departments.

During the visit, Medical Superintendent Dr Saud Afzal accompanied her and briefed the DC on the hospital’s performance and ongoing administrative measures.

The deputy commissioner inspected the laboratory and reviewed various diagnostic tests and machinery. She also visited the general store, where she examined the process of shifting records to an online system and compared manual records with digital entries to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Later, she visited the medicine hall where a training session for MD Planning Officers of different government hospitals was in progress. She reviewed the training process and distributed certificates among doctors and professionals who successfully completed the course.

The DC also conducted a detailed inspection of the Ramzan Nigehban Dastarkhwan established at the hospital, reviewed cleanliness arrangements and met patients and their attendants. She listened to their concerns and assessed the facilities being provided.
