DC reviews Gymkhana development projects

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Thursday chaired a meeting

of the Gymkhana Development Committee to review progress on ongoing development

projects aimed at improving facilities and infrastructure at the Sargodha Gymkhana.

According to the spokesperson for the DC office here, the meeting discussed the renovation

of the administration block, establishment and expansion of a rooftop café, development of

a coffee shop, provision of quality food at the food court, expansion of parking facilities and other development initiatives. Timelines and quality standards for the completion of the projects also came under review.

The DC directed the relevant authorities to ensure that all development schemes are completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining the highest construction standards.

He said no compromise would be made on quality, transparency and sustainability, adding that the

projects should provide Gymkhana members with modern facilities and a pleasant environment.

He also instructed officials to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and the availability of quality food

at the food court, while expanding parking capacity to address traffic and parking issues.

He emphasized regular monitoring of all ongoing projects to ensure their timely completion.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Ahmad Haroon, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rana Muhammad Abu Bakar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Muhammad Arshad Wattoo, Gymkhana Secretary Suhail Alpa, Assistant Commissioner Sargodha Ahmad Sher Gondal and other members of the Development Committee.
