DC reviews development work on Kutchery Bazaar, City Road

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry conducted a late-night inspection of ongoing development work at Kutchery Bazaar and City Road under the Punjab government’s city beautification initiative in Sargodha.

According to the official spokesperson here on Tuesday, during the visit, the DC reviewed the pace and quality of construction work on City Road and directed the concerned departments to ensure completion of the project within the stipulated timeline.

He specifically instructed officials of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) to complete all ongoing work on City Road within one week to minimize inconvenience for residents and commuters.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said the city beautification programme launched under the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab aims to transform major commercial areas into cleaner, more attractive and shopper-friendly spaces.

He emphasized that no compromise would be made on the quality or speed of the development work.

Deputy Director Development and other concerned officials were also present during the inspection.
