DC reviews cattle market arrangements

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Sunday supervised a district-wide inspection of cattle markets and sale points to ensure provision of facilities for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

Assistant Commissioners across all tehsils remained active in the field to review security, cleanliness, parking, and lighting arrangements at various sites, according to an official handout issued here.

The Assistant Commissioner Sargodha Ahmed Sher Gondal visited the Tali Chowk cattle market to inspect facilities for citizens and traders, while Assistant Commissioner Bhalwal Waheed Gondal visited the Bhera Road market. Similarly, Assistant Commissioner Silanwali Chaudhry Akmal reviewed arrangements and issued necessary instructions to the staff on-site.

Assistant Commissioner Bhera Nimra Awais, along with the Commissioner Sargodha Division, visited cattle sale points, while Assistant Commissioner Kotmomin Akhtar Malik monitored ongoing preparations in his jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the AC Shahpur Yusra Sohail Butt and Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal Khan Shams-ur-Rehman ensured that cattle sale points remained fully functional to facilitate the public on Sunday.

DC Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry stated that effective measures had been finalized for traffic flow and security, adding that all administrative officers were directed to remain in the field for continuous monitoring of the arrangements.
