DC Quetta vows to provide facilities to educational institutions for improving quality of education

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini on Wednesday presided over a meeting of the District Education Committee to provide facilities to educational institutions for improving quality of education.

The meeting was attended by DEO Male/Female, District Finance Officer and other concerned officers. Various important decisions were taken in the meeting for the improvement of the education system of Quetta.

The number of newly admitted children and the facilities provided to them were considered in detail, while data related to functional and non-functional schools was also presented. In addition, a review was also made regarding absent staff in government schools.

On this occasion, a report of the government schools visited by the RTCM was presented, in which absent staff was identified.

The Deputy Commissioner Quetta directed that the details of the government schools whose buildings do not exist should be collected immediately so that the government could make it possible to construct buildings there.

Similarly, complete details of the schools in which there is a shortage of classrooms should also be provided as soon as possible so that the construction of new classrooms can be implemented.

It was also decided in the meeting that water tankers, washrooms and other basic facilities would be provided in various government schools so that the students could get a better educational environment.

The Deputy Commissioner Quetta said that no child should be deprived of education and all possible facilities will be provided to all children.
