DC orders vacating unsafe school buildings

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali has directed the Education Department to immediately close and vacate all government school buildings and classrooms declared fully or partially unsafe in the district.

According to a DC office spokesperson, students have been barred from entering or using such structures. The unsafe buildings will be sealed, fenced and marked with warning boards.

The deputy commissioner warned that strict action would be taken against concerned officers and head teachers in case of any violation or incident.

She also directed administrative and education officers to visit schools and review implementation of the orders to ensure compliance
