DC orders upgraded facilities at land record centre, schools and sports venues

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Nauman Siddique carried out an extensive inspection of key public service facilities across Faisalabad and directed the officials to improve service delivery, upgrade civic infrastructure and ensure quality education and recreational facilities to enhance public convenience.

During visit to Land Record Centre, he reviewed the services being provided to applicants and interacted with visitors to assess the standard of public facilitation.

He inspected waiting arrangements and availability of drinking water. He directed the staff to ensure that service quality exceeded public expectations.

He stressed that applicants should be facilitated in a respectful and efficient manner and instructed the authorities to minimize waiting time through prompt processing of applications.

Later, he visited General Bus Stand to review the proposed plan for transforming the existing facility into a modern, state-of-the-art transport terminal.

Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Muhammad Rashid briefed him in detail on the proposed project, including its development features and implementation plan.

The deputy commissioner also inspected Iqbal Stadium where he reviewed cleanliness, maintenance, administrative arrangements and the facilities available for athletes and visitors.

He directed the relevant officers to maintain the stadium in excellent condition by ensuring regular beautification, cleanliness and upkeep so that citizens and sportspersons could enjoy a safe, clean and high-quality environment.
