FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has directed administrative officers to speed up efforts to resolve civic issues, remove encroachments and improve public service delivery, warning that negligence in official duties would not be tolerated.
Chairing a meeting on governance targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and public complaints here on Tuesday, he expressed dissatisfaction over failure to meet certain performance goals and stressed the need for active and responsible governance.
The DC ordered the complete removal of wall-chalking across the district and instructed officers to intensify anti-encroachment operations to improve traffic flow and civic conditions. He also directed immediate action to cover all open manholes, warning that assistant commissioners would be held accountable for any complaints or accidents caused by negligence.

Emphasizing better public service delivery, Nadeem Nasir instructed assistant commissioners to regularly monitor schools, hospitals and THQ facilities, while also focusing on sanitation, beautification projects, restoration of green belts and rehabilitation of parks. Appreciating the performance of AC City Adil Umar, he urged officers to adopt a proactive, people-friendly approach and ensure timely resolution of public complaints without unnecessary delays or repeated visits by citizens to government offices.
