FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Capt (Retd) Nadeem Nasir on Sunday ordered
strict accountability measures against fake data reporting and manipulated
field records, declaring zero-tolerance policy for misinformation.
Chairing a meeting to review district performance and implementation of Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs), he directed all departments to adopt effective
measures for enhancing service delivery and ensuring transparency in reporting
mechanisms.
He said that accurate data was the foundation of effective governance and
warned that fake uploads, incorrect reporting and unverified information would
not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He instructed all tehsils to ensure daily verification of data and photographic
evidence before uploading reports to official monitoring systems.
He said the officers concerned would be held accountable for any fake entries or
unverified information.
He also warned of strict disciplinary action against officials found uploading
artificial intelligence-generated or edited photographs to misrepresent field performance.
He directed assistant commissioners to remain active in the field on daily basis
and ensure prompt resolution of public issues.
He directed chief officers, tehsildars and field staff to move beyond office-based
supervision and strengthen practical monitoring of ongoing operations and public
service initiatives.

and performance evaluation processes to improve monitoring and accountability across
departments.
During meeting, it was decided to adopt a comprehensive strategy for monitoring
public complaints on social media platforms and ensuring their swift resolution.
Highlighting Punjab Chief Minister’s inspection campaign, the deputy commissioner
stressed the need for making all field activities geo-tagged, transparent and verifiable.
He directed departments to further improve service standards at hospitals, public parks,
greenbelts, bus stands, public washrooms, manholes and sanitation facilities across
the district.
He said the officers involved in fake reporting or showing unsatisfactory performance
would face strict action while tehsils and departments demonstrating outstanding
results would be encouraged through the award of special performance certificates.
Transparency, accountability and active field presence were essential for delivering
quality public services and achieving sustainable improvements in district governance
and citizen satisfaction, he added.
