DC orders daily sanitation monitoring in public hospitals

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) Practical measures are being implemented across the district to ensure improved public

healthcare facilities.

In line with these efforts, a comprehensive cleanliness operation has been successfully completed at

THQ Hospital Ahmedpur East.

According to the district administration, an extensive sanitation campaign was carried out in various hospital

wards, the emergency department, and the outpatient department (OPD). The operation ensured thorough

cleaning of entry and exit points, waiting areas, and washrooms, while disinfectant sprays were systematically

applied throughout the facility to maintain hygienic conditions.

To further enhance cleanliness standards, additional staff duties were assigned to ensure uninterrupted sanitation

services, providing patients and their attendants with a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza stated that providing medical services in a clean and hygienic environment remains a top priority of the district administration. He directed the hospital management to maintain sanitation measures on a daily basis and emphasized that no negligence in cleanliness standards will be tolerated.
