DC Lahore orders making dengue surveillance process effective

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) The mission of city development and protection of public health under the "Lahore Development Program" of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is successfully underway.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Ejaz visited Tehsil Nishtar and reviewed the ongoing development works and anti-dengue campaign on Shama Colony and Kamahan Lidhar Road.

The DC Lahore inaugurated a tree plantation campaign on Rohi Nullah. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Ijaz was briefed on the construction quality and provision of public facilities during the field visit. He reviewed the performance of community health inspectors in Shama Colony and directed that the dengue surveillance process be made more effective.

DC Muhammad Ali Ejaz inaugurated the plantation drive by planting a sapling on Rohi Nallah and strictly directed LWMC to ensure uninterrupted sanitation operations across the district.
