DC Khairpur wishes people a joyous Eid-ul-Fitr

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khairpur, Altaf Ahmed Chachar, extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of the district, wishing them a joyous and peaceful Eid.

In his message on Friday, DC Chachar said the district administration's top priority is to ensure the safety and security of citizens during Eid celebrations. He stated that arrangements have been made in collaboration with relevant agencies and the district police.

Municipal committees and town committees have been instructed to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.

Chachar appreciated the revenue team for providing relief to the public during Ramadan, setting up savings markets and taking action against hoarders and those selling above the official rate.

He said the administration and police have made comprehensive arrangements for Eid prayers and public gatherings, increasing mobile and eagle squad patrols. The authorities have been instructed to avoid load-shedding of electricity and gas on Eid day.

He appealed to the public to cooperate with the district administration, police, and law enforcement agencies.
