DC Kalat for addressing legal issues of people

Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmad Durrani on Thursday issued orders to heads of concerned departments to address legal problems of people

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmad Durrani on Thursday issued orders to heads of concerned departments to address legal problems of people.

He said this while addressing at an open court for addressing legal issues of public organized by district administration at DC Complex on special directive of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Colonel Zarar 329 Brigade, Assistant Commissioner Tahir Sanjrani, DSP Mahiwal, heads of other government departments, political tribal leaders, councilors, journalistic community and a large number of people participated in the open court.

Participants expressed issues including construction of a mosque in the vegetable market, Zawah Dam Delays in construction work, water shortage in various areas, repair of solar lights in the city, shortage of watchmen in the market, over-billing of electricity, distribution of rations of the Ramadan package, cleaning of the Chashma Cheel spring, shortage of classrooms in the Government Model Dawood school, lack of basic facilities in Kulli Mughalzai, rehabilitation of flood victims, repair of the ambulance of Muhammad Tawa, unavailability of tickets for arms licenses in the post office and absence of heads of district departments in the offices, lack of machinery and nurseries in the Agriculture Department, delay in provision of salaries to employees of the Municipal Committee and other important issues.

In the open court, DC Munir Ahmad Durrani issued on-the-spot orders to redress the grievances of the people and issued strict instructions to the heads of departments to resolve other issues. He said that the main objective of the open court is to bring the people and the district administration directly in touch so that the people could directly express their problems.

He said that we are working to solve the collective problems of the people, we have to do it and we have come for service delivery.

The Chief Minister and Chief Secretary have clear instructions that administrative officers should solve the problems of the people to ensure good governance, he said.

DC Kalat said that it is my faith to serve the people without discrimination, the heads of government departments are servants of the people, it is their responsibility to solve public problems, everyone should do their part honestly.

He also directed that the heads of departments should ensure attendance in their offices so that no applicant faces any problems.

The DC said that the people are the representatives of their area, all of you should highlight the problems in your areas so that steps could be taken to solve them immediately. He noted that the area's dignitaries, political and tribal leaders, journalist community and district administration should cooperate fully to solve public problems.
