SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali visited Pasrur under the “One Day, One Tehsil” inspection program to review departmental performance and public service delivery.
Accompanied by local officers, she inspected green belts, parks and the plantation of 375 saplings along Sialkot–Pasrur Road, directing expansion of the tree plantation drive with community participation. She also reviewed anti-encroachment operations at key points and cleanliness activities carried out by 570 sanitation workers under the Suthra Punjab campaign.
During a visit to THQ Hospital, she was briefed on staff shortages, dialysis unit needs, and infrastructure requirements. She assured that necessary proposals would be forwarded to the Punjab Health Department.
The DC also ordered strict action against illegal petrol pumps and LPG refilling and inspected facilities at Government Girls High school Pasrur.
She said the program aimed at improving civic services, ensuring cleanliness and addressing public issues on a priority basis.
