DC, DPO spend Eid with martyrs’ families in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir Khan along with District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed, spent Eid-ul-Fitr with the families of martyrs and injured police personnel, reaffirming the administration and police’s commitment to those who have sacrificed in the line of duty.

DSP Headquarters Sharifullah Khan and Incharge 'Shuhada Desk' Malik Muhammad Imran also accompanied them during the visits.

The officials visited the residence of martyred officer Ahmed Nawaz, who embraced martyrdom at Khhutti check post, and met his family. They particularly expressed condolences to the martyr’s father and paid tribute to his sacrifice. On the occasion, they stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police never forgets its martyrs, adding that their sacrifices serve as a guiding light and that taking care of their families remains a top priority.

Later, the DPO visited Constable Azharuddin, who was recently injured in the line of duty. He inquired about his health and issued necessary directions to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment.

Reiterating their commitment, the officials said that the police force values the sacrifices of its martyrs and injured personnel and will utilize all available resources for the welfare of their families. They added that expressing solidarity with martyrs and Ghazis on festive occasions like Eid is a longstanding tradition that will be upheld.
