HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abdul Samad Nizamani, distributed protective equipment among the teams of Sindh Integrated Health Emergency Services under an initiative of Nari Development Organization with the support of Start Network and Muslim Hands.
The distribution ceremony was held at Darbar Hall of DC Office.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner said that timely provision of relief and medical services to public during emergencies is of utmost importance. He stated that rescue and emergency service personnel are continuously serving to protect the lives and property of citizens and that providing them with essential protective equipment is the need of the hour.
He appreciated the support provided by Nari Development Organization and said that cooperation between social organizations and government institutions can further enhance the effectiveness of public service delivery.
He expressed hope that such initiatives would strengthen the operational capacity of emergency services.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nari Development Organization President Azra Memon said that, with the support of Muslim Hands and Start Network, the organization had provided 50 protective equipment kits to Sindh Integrated Emergency Health Services, Shaheed Benazirabad. The kits included umbrellas, cooling pads, water coolers, hot and cold water bottles, cooling towels, neck covers, ORS packets, handheld portable fans, men's cotton scarves, and zip bags.
The ceremony was attended by District Manager SISHS Aqsa Jamali, officers of relevant departments, and representatives of social organizations.
