DC directs timely completion of development projects in Murree

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, on Wednesday directed district officers to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of all ongoing development schemes.

He was chairing a meeting of the District Coordination Committee, which was attended by district heads of all relevant departments. The forum reviewed the overall performance of various public sector departments, progress on ongoing development projects, and public welfare initiatives.

During the session, departmental heads provided comprehensive briefings on their respective institutional performances and ongoing development schemes.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the deputy commissioner emphasized that projects must be completed within the stipulated timelines and meet high quality standards so that the public can reap their benefits without delay.

Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi reiterated that public service remains the top priority of the government, warning that no delay or negligence in execution would be tolerated. He also urged officers to perform their duties with dedication and professionalism to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances.
