DC Chiniot reviews beautification projects, orders swift and quality execution

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Saturday paid a detailed visit to the Lahore Road Chowki Burjian entry point in Chiniot district, where she reviewed ongoing work on the construction of an aesthetically designed “Welcome to District Chiniot” gate.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner directed MOI Noman Zahid and relevant officials to accelerate the pace of work while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. She emphasized that the project should reflect both durability and visual appeal.

Highlighting the broader vision, she stated that similar entry gates would be developed along the internal boundaries of the district, accompanied by comprehensive beautification efforts aimed at enhancing the overall landscape and civic image of Chiniot.

Later, she visited Lahore Road Bypass Chowk, where she assessed ongoing improvement and restoration work. Issuing further directives, she instructed officials to focus on the enhancement of monuments, development of green belts and traffic triangles, plantation of trees and grass, and timely completion of all beautification initiatives.
