DC Chiniot inspects hospitals, parks, schools in Lalian

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan made a detailed visit to Tehsil Lalian on Friday, reviewing health, public facilities, and education services along with Assistant Commissioner Lalian Dr. Anas Saeed.

She began at THQ Hospital Lalian, where she visited the Chief Minister Punjab Health Screening Camp and inspected the screening process.

The DC toured the hospital’s emergency, general ward, gynecology ward, PAEDS ward, operation theater, OPD, and other sections to assess medical and administrative affairs.

She met patients and inquired about the availability of medicines and treatment facilities. Issuing instructions to MS Dr. Shahzad Khalil and other officials, she directed improvements across several areas.

She later visited Maryam Nawaz Hospital Kot Qazi with DHO Dr. Shahzad Khalil, reviewed different sections, and expressed satisfaction with cleanliness while calling for further improvements.

Ayesha Rizwan also inspected Ladies Park Lalian, reviewing restoration work and expressing dissatisfaction with the current condition.

She ordered the contractor to address issues with washrooms, clean drinking water, benches, swings, and other facilities within two days, warning of strict action if the work was not completed properly.

She issued on-the-spot instructions to the Assistant Commissioner Lalian for monitoring. The visit extended to Sargodha Road Ahmed Nagar, where she reviewed road repairs, drain cleaning, and other issues with Exxon Highways Muhammad Ahmed and CO District Council Muhammad Fayyaz.

She directed the completion of work at Ahmed Nagar Ada, removal of roadside weeds, and implementation of safety cordons. Concluding her tour, the Deputy Commissioner visited Government Nusrat Girls High school Chenab Nagar with CO Education Azhar Sohail Niazi.
