DC Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan conducts surprise dawn inspection of DHQ Hospital

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) In a surprise early-morning visit on Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Ashfaq Rasool, inspected DHQ Hospital Chiniot to assess service delivery and staff performance. During the unannounced inspection, she meticulously checked the attendance of doctors and paramedical staff against the official duty roster and promptly sought written explanations from those found absent or negligent.

The Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive review of both medical and administrative affairs within the hospital. She carefully examined arrangements in the children’s ward, male and female wards, as well as the emergency unit, while closely evaluating cleanliness standards and patient care facilities. The inspection aimed to ensure disciplined management and efficient healthcare services.

Moreover, she personally visited patients in various wards and inquired about the availability of medicines and the quality of treatment being provided. Several patients shared their feedback regarding medical services, which she attentively noted. She emphasised that hospital management must remain consistently vigilant in maintaining hygiene and ensuring uninterrupted medical supplies.

Issuing firm directives to the Medical Superintendent, she instructed that all shortcomings be addressed immediately and effectively. She stressed that provision of basic healthcare facilities to the people of the area remains the administration’s top priority, adding that any form of negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
