the Widows Welfare Fund for the families of government employees in the district.

According to official sources, a total of 815 deserving families will benefit from the

financial assistance programme.

The approved funds would be transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries

before Eidul Adha to facilitate them in meeting their household needs ahead of the

religious festival.

The DC said the Punjab government was taking practical measures for the welfare

and support of government employees and their families.

He added that timely financial assistance to deserving families was being ensured

so they could celebrate Eid with dignity and improved financial stability.

Officials said the initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to social

welfare and support for families facing financial hardship after the loss of their breadwinners.
