DC approves 27 applications for fee condonation

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has approved 27 applications for fee condonation

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has approved 27 applications for fee condonation.

He was chairing a meeting to review condonation fee cases relating to various commercial and development sectors across the district while Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Shireena Jonejo, Assistant Commissioner City Adil Umar, Assistant Commissioner Saddar Dr. Zulqarnain and others were also present on the occasion. Assistant commissioners of Samundri, Tandlianwala, Chak Jhumra and Jaranwala participated in the meeting through video link.

During meeting, the officials carried out a detailed review of condonation fee cases related to petrol pumps, housing societies, commercial properties, agricultural land, marriage halls and health facilities along with other categories.

Total 32 cases were presented before the committee and the deputy commissioner approved 27 cases while four were deferred for further scrutiny and one case was rejected.

He directed the officers to process and decide all cases strictly on merit in accordance with transparency and legal requirements. He also instructed the authorities concerned to ensure thorough scrutiny of cases related to the District Council Faisalabad, Business Facilitation Center Faisalabad, Municipal Corporation Faisalabad and other relevant departments.

Timely decisions in accordance with government rules and regulations would help promote business activities and improve public service delivery across the district, he added.
