DC Abbottabad visits CPSP, appreciates role in medical education

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram Friday visited the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) Abbottabad, where he met with the faculty members and attended a conference organized at the institution.

During the visit, the college administration briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the overall performance of the institution, ongoing training programmes, and efforts being made to promote professional excellence in the medical field.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram appreciated the services of the institution and said that such organizations play a vital role in promoting medical education and professional training, which contribute to the improvement of the healthcare sector and the provision of quality medical facilities in the country.

He added that the preparation of skilled and well-trained doctors is crucial for ensuring better healthcare services for the public.
