In his Labour Day message, he highlighted that the workforce plays a fundamental role in driving national economic growth, adding that sustained efforts are underway to safeguard workers’ rights and enhance their living standards.

He said the government would continue to take steps to ensure better employment opportunities, safe working environments, and fair wages for labourers.
