RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) City Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam and Sub Traffic Officer (STO) Muneer Ahmed Hashmi on Friday joined traffic wardens to break the fast, continuing a tradition of sharing Iftar with personnel on duty across the city.
CTO Farhan Aslam said the practice aimed to boost the morale of officers and staff, adding that “during Ramazan, my personnel are performing their duties with even greater dedication.”
He noted that the wardens “do Iftar on the streets so citizens can return home safely to break their fast, and that Iftar items are also provided to commuters present on major thoroughfares.
”
STO Muneer Ahmed Hashmi urged motorists to show patience and restraint while driving during Ramazan, while other in-charges continued the practice of breaking fast with staff at their points to encourage team spirit.
Traffic wardens said serving and facilitating fasting citizens during Ramazan provided a sense of heartfelt satisfaction.
