CTD arrests TTP linked Afghan terrorist

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested a suspected Afghan terrorist allegedly associated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to a press release, the suspect was rounded up in a raid carried out in the limits of Hatri police station.

The CTD claimed recovery of a hand grenade from his possession.

The suspected terrorist was later booked in an FIR under the Anti Terorism Act and the Foreigners Act at CTD Hyderabad police station.
