HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) A team of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has claimed to have arrested a suspect allegedly associated with the banned Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) here on Thursday night.
The CTD's spokesman informed on Friday that they recovered 2 hand grenades, a 30-bore pistol, 3 magazines of an SMG and one of an MP5 rifle from Khadim Hussain Gopang who was rounded up in a raid near Shahmeer Shoro Goth in Qasimabad.
According to the spokesman, Gopang had left his home on December 1, 2025, to undertake some SRA-given responsibilities.
The official claimed that Gopang disclosed during the initial interrogation that he followed instructions of their commander Asghar Shah.
The CTD booked the suspect in 2 FIRs, lodged at the CTD police station on the state's complaint, after his arrest.
