Crackdown on using flash lights in vehicles

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Nasir Javed Rana launched a comprehensive crackdown against

the use of flash lights on vehicles and warned the citizens to refrain from installing lights

that impair the visibility of other drivers and endanger road safety.

Addressing the trafficker officers during a briefing, he directed all circle officers, sector incharges and field staff to initiate indiscriminate action against the violators of traffic rules and regulations.

He said that use of sharp and dazzling flash lights not only violates traffic regulations but also poses serious risks to the motorists and pedestrians by disturbing their line of sight.

He said that safe and smooth traffic flow is top priority of the traffic police. Therefore, strict enforcement would continue to eliminate hazardous practices on roads, he added.
