Crackdown against overcharging intensifies in Sialkot

continues across the district.

During last three days, price magistrates carried out active operations in all four tehsils and imposed fines amounting to Rs.

525,000 on 211 profiteers.

During this period, a total of 7,286 inspections were conducted. Out of these, 718 shopkeepers were found involved in overcharging. Among them, 211 were fined, while 514 were issued warnings. Two shops were sealed, and four profiteers were arrested with cases registered against them.
