CPO Rawalpindi holds Open Courts in different police stations, issues on-spot orders for public relief

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) In line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani held open courts (Khuli Katcheries) in the areas of Police Station Banni, SDPO Office New Town, Police Station New Town, and Police Station Sadiqabad to address public grievances and ensure prompt delivery of justice.

Senior police officials, including the SSP Operations, SSP Investigation, Chief Traffic Officer, SDPOs, SHOs, and investigating officers, were also present on the occasion.

During the open courts, the CPO listened to citizens’ complaints and issued on-the-spot directions for the resolution of their issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani said that the timely and immediate provision of justice to citizens remains the top priority of Rawalpindi Police.

He emphasized that service delivery, merit, and the rule of law would be ensured at all costs, adding that the protection of citizens’ lives and property and the provision of the best possible facilities are being ensured at all times.

Later, the CPO visited Police Station Sadiqabad, where he reviewed the newly constructed building of the Police Station and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
