CPO orders result-oriented strategy against criminals

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar on Tuesday directed police officers to adopt an effective and result-oriented strategy for the arrest of hardened criminals and proclaimed offenders as protection of citizens’ lives and property was top priority of Faisalabad police.

He issued these directions while chairing a meeting at his office to review the performance and progress of District Intelligence Branch (DIB) circles.

In-charge DIB Circles,NIU Inspector Rana Asim,Inspector Mazhar-ul-Haq,Inspector Mansoor and other officers were also present in the meeting.

The CPO reviewed circle-wise progress and emphasized accelerating operations against criminals involved in heinous offences.

He instructed police officers to intensify crackdowns on the gangs involved in motorcycle theft and robbery in addition to taking strict action against the drug traffickers.

He stressed the need to utilize all available technical resources for early arrest of the criminals and directed police officers to trace criminals through CRO and other investigative resources to ensure prompt disposal of the cases on merit.

Reiterating his commitment to public safety,the CPO said that Faisalabad police would continue its vigorous campaign against crimes and anti-social elements.

Strict accountability would also be ensured to achieve tangible results and maintain law & order across the district, he added.
