CPO orders expeditious action against heinous criminals

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) City Police Officer Sahibzada Bilal Umar directed the officers to expedite arrests in serious crime cases and ensure early disposal of under-investigation cases.

Chairing a crime meeting of Khurarianwala Circle, he ordered that accused persons involved in the cases of murder, attempted murder, robbery and highway robbery must be arrested without delay.

He stressed the need to intensify operations against proclaimed offenders and their facilitators to curb criminal activities effectively.

He also directed SHOs to further improve patrolling and strengthen search operations to maintain visible policing.

Emphasizing zero tolerance for narcotics and illegal weapons, the CPO ordered a continuous and effective crackdown against drug peddlers and illicit weapon holders. He underscored that only thorough investigation and effective prosecution could ensure exemplary punishment for criminals.

He instructed police officers to treat visitors at police stations with courtesy and resolve their complaints on priority basis.

DSP Nasrullah, SHOs and investigation officers were also present in the meeting and they assured strict compliance with the directives to further improve policing standards in the circle.
