CPO listens to public complaints in open court,orders prompt redress

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar on Friday held an open court at his office where the people directly presented their complaints and grievances,prompting the police chief to direct police officers to resolve public issues within the stipulated time frame and ensure prompt justice.

According to a police spokesman,the people submitted written applications and briefed the CPO about various issues during the open court.

The CPO listened to the complainants individually and issued on-spot instructions to the concerned police officers for addressing the matters without delay.

Speaking on the occasion,CPO Bilal Umar emphasized that providing quick and effective justice to the public remained the foremost priority of the police.

He instructed the police officers to ensure that all complaints received during the open court were resolved within the prescribed time in addition to keeping the complainants informed about progress of their cases.

He said that purpose of open courts was to provide a direct platform for the people to present their grievances without intermediaries and ensure immediate action for resolving their problems.

The CPO made it clear that injustice with citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The police were making all possible efforts to serve the community and safeguard lives and property of the masses,he added.
