CPO directs for crackdown on criminals

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar directed officers to further strengthen checking and surveillance across the city to curb vehicle theft and other street crimes.

Chairing a meeting with DIB Factory Area and AVLS officers, he reviewed the overall crime situation and performance of the respective wings.

He instructed the officers to improve checking mechanism to prevent vehicle theft incidents and ensure strict monitoring of important locations, rush points and parking areas.

He emphasized enhanced vigilance through effective intelligence-sharing and coordinated patrolling.

He also ordered acceleration of operations against proclaimed offenders, drug peddlers and those elements involved in illegal weapons.

DSP Ejaz Ahmed, Incharge DIB Iqbal Division Inspector Abdul Ghaffar and Incharge AVLS Najam-ul-Hassan were also present in the meeting.
