An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has recorded the statements of two additional prosecution witnesses in the case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers related to the May 9 protests
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has recorded the statements of two additional prosecution witnesses in the case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers related to the May 9 protests.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case. During the proceedings held on Monday, the prosecution presented two more witnesses whose statements were formally recorded by the court.
With the latest additions, statements of a total of 18 witnesses have now been recorded in the case. The court directed the defence counsel to cross-examine the witnesses during the next hearing.
The judge adjourned further proceedings until April 30, summoning additional prosecution witnesses for the next date of hearing.
The case against PTI workers was registered at Shams Colony police station under anti-terrorism provisions.
