Court sentences man to life imprisonment

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) A court in Rawalpindi on Tuesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 300,000 for molesting a nine-year-old girl.

According to the details the accused, identified as Zeeshan, was involved in the case registered at Wah Cantt police station in December 2022.

The court handed down the maximum punishment in view of strong evidence and effective prosecution of the case.

City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani praised SSP Investigation and the police investigation and legal teams for their professional handling of the case, which led to the convict receiving the deserved sentence.
