ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in a case
linked to the November 26 protest and barred her arrest till February 24.
The court also adjourned the hearing on her bail plea to the same date.
The case was taken up by Duty Judge Muhammad Ali Waraich due to the leave of Additional Sessions Judge Aamir Zia. After hearing the matter, the court ordered the extension of interim bail and directed the police not to arrest the accused in the related case during the extended period.
Bushra Bibi is facing a case registered at Ramna Police Station in connection with the November 26 protest. The FIR includes provisions of the PAPO Act along with other sections of law.
The judge noted that the interim relief granted earlier would remain in force until the next date of hearing. The court fixed February 24 for further arguments on the bail application.
